This privacy policy explains how the Swiss News mobile app (“the app”), published by Loncey Tech for Swiss 7 FM, handles information. By using the app you agree to this policy.

Summary

The app does not require an account and does not collect, store, or share any personal information about you. There is no sign-up, no login, and no user tracking.

Information we do NOT collect

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, location, or any personal identifiers. We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs that profile you. We do not sell or share personal data, because we do not collect it.

Data the app uses to work

  • Internet connection: The app streams live audio and loads news articles and advertisement banners from our servers (stream.rajcreation.net and swissnews7.com). Standard network requests (including your device’s IP address, as with any internet use) are handled by those servers and your network provider.
  • Phone state: The app requests permission to read the phone’s call state only so it can automatically pause the radio during an incoming or outgoing call and resume afterwards. This information is used on your device in real time and is never stored, collected, or transmitted.
  • Notifications: Used to show media playback controls (play/pause) while the radio is playing.
  • Media playback (foreground service): Allows the radio to keep playing in the background with lock-screen controls.

Advertisements

The app displays sponsor/advertisement banners managed by Swiss 7 FM. These are simple images and links served from our own WordPress site; they are not personalized and do not track you.

Children

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Third-party services

Audio streaming and content are delivered from our own infrastructure. Tapping a link (an article, an ad, or a social media icon) opens it in your browser or the relevant app, which is then governed by that site’s or app’s own privacy policy.
